Balanced Scorecard Professional

The Balanced Scorecard Institute Professional Certification programs give leaders the tools they need to successfully develop and execute the balanced scorecard strategic planning approach, focus on the drivers of performance, align the work people do on a day-to-day basis with strategy, measure what matters, and elevate the overall focus on strategy and results. Those holding the certification are skilled in process facilitation and equipped to help executive leadership teams and/or departmental groups work through intentional steps to create a strategy map and supporting plan for execution.

The mission for the Institute for the Future (IFTF) is to prepare the world to create better, more equitable futures by disrupting short-term thinking with visions of transformative possibilities. To that end, IFTF, the world’s leading futures organization, equips participants in the Certified Foresight Practitioner program with proven methods to help leaders “break” frames, “practice” foresight, and “create” the future. Certified Foresight Practitioners are steeped in the Foresight-Insight-Action cycle and skilled in facilitating leaders through powerful conversations about the future to help them make better decisions in the present. Foresight is especially effective in sensing change, forging a new strategic direction, defining strategy, and prompting innovation.

The Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification is for individuals who expertly steer others though the process of integrating HR operations, directing an entire HR enterprise and aligning HR strategies to their organization’s goals. To earn the SHRM-SCP, individuals must have a proven work history that includes strategic HR experience, have a current role working at the strategic level in HR, and pass a rigorous exam demonstrating HR specific knowledge, situational judgment, and leadership. SHRM-SCP’s must re-certify every three years.

The College of Executive Coaching is the leader in coach training for professionals with graduate degrees, offering ICF-accredited executive coach training and sophisticated leadership development programs. College faculty are among the pioneers and most accomplished practitioners in the field of executive coaching, with deep experience in assessment-based coaching leveraging emotional intelligence, personality type, and strengths.

The International Coach Federation (ICF) is the most recognized global organization for high-quality professional coaches. Before being designated a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the ICF, an individual must complete 125 hours of coach-specific education, log at least 500 hours of coaching experience, participate in 10 hours of mentor coaching, demonstrate mastery of core coaching competencies, and adhere to the highest ethical standards. Emotional Intelligence (EI) is proven to be a key indicator of human performance and professional development; it truly separates the best performers from the rest. Professionals high in EI communicate more effectively, form more effective relationships, create powerful coping strategies for managing workplace challenges, and consistently generate better results. The good news is that EI can be improved through focused coaching and practice. Multi-Health Systems (MHS) is a leading developer of scientifically validated tools, including the EQ-i2.0 and EQ 360 assessments. These Level B assessments are among the most valid and reliable EI instruments available and require certification and training from MHS to administer and interpret both EQ-i2.0 and EQ 360 results.

When leading an organization, it’s essential to be cognizant of the impact of one’s actions on colleagues at every level. The Multi-Health System (MHS) EQ 360 assessment is a tool designed to support both new and existing leaders, allowing them to gain an understanding of their performance in the workplace, but also for them to gain insights into their performance as a leader by peers, their direct reports, and supervisors. In addition, this tool identifies blind spots, strengths, and developmental opportunities vital for coaching leaders to new performance levels.
